Tanaquil’s stoneware is high-fired in a manual gas kiln with a reduction atmosphere, reaching temperatures at which the clay vitrifies, becoming dense, hard, and water-resistant.
The glazes are made according to historic recipes, and additional coloration is achieved using pre-fired embedded minerals, giving each piece its unique appearance, characterized by strength and durability.
